Calling all hombrewers, it’s time to fire up your kettles and get brewing! Head to Craft Tranzition Party #4 on the 7th of September, where we’ve teamed up with Asociatia Berarilor Amatori to bring a fully accredited homebrewing competition to Cluj.

We have 8* categories that you can enter, all following the current (2015) BJCP guidelines.

04A. Munich Helles (
10A. Weissbier (
12B. Australian Sparkling Ale (
15B. Irish Stout (
20C. Imperial Stout (
21B. Specialty IPA (NEIPA) (
25B. Saison (
34A. Clone Beer (Ground Zero: Imperial Fuck) (

* Any category with fewer than 3 entries a week before the competition will be cancelled *

The Basics:

> There’s a 20RON fee per entry, to be paid to Asociatia Berarilor Amatori by bank transfer (details to follow shortly), or in cash on delivery of the bottles.
> Maximum of 3 entries per person.
> Maximum of 1 entry per category, per person.
> Please send 3 x 330ml bottles, or 2 x 500ml per entry.
> All entries must contain your contact details, as well as information about the beer (style, ingredients, etc.)
> We have a limit of 30 entries in total. Registrations are only confirmed upon payment of the fee.
> Pre-brewed beers are accepted (imperial stouts, etc.) as long as they haven’t won in a previous competition.

> Registration and payment deadline = 31st August.
> Drop off points in Cluj and Bucharest are to be announced.
> Entries from other cities can be posted – postage details to follow.

All category winners will receive certificates, and the best in show will be awarded a special little something 🙂
